Traviata® Rose Bush: Deep red Hybrid Tea with old-fashioned, quartered blooms, excellent disease resistance, and repeat flowers all season.
Rosa ‘MEIlavio’ Traviata®
What you’ll get: Bare Root (Own Root)
Traviata® is a classic Hybrid Tea rose that brings old-world charm into modern gardens. Bred by Meilland® of France and introduced to the U.S. by Star® Roses & Plants in 1997, this variety captivates with fully double, quartered blooms of velvety deep red, often with a darker reverse for extra depth. Its romantic flowers appear in flushes from early summer through late autumn, making it a reliable focal point for borders, beds, or cutting gardens.
Though its style recalls antique roses, Traviata® delivers with excellent disease resistance and the strong garden performance expected of modern hybrids. Its upright, bushy growth habit and lush, dark green foliage provide a dramatic backdrop to the richly colored blooms. Whether enjoyed in the garden or as a cut flower, Traviata® is as timeless as its operatic namesake.
Why You’ll Love It:
Traviata® is the rose for romantics — a deep red, quartered Hybrid Tea that marries antique style with modern durability. With abundant blooms, disease resistance, and strong stems, it’s a reliable garden centerpiece and a stunning cut flower.
