The Pride Hybrid Tea Rose
Dusty lilac with a mauve twist
What you'll get: 1 bare root rose, shipped dormant for the 2027 season
The Pride rose shows up in lavender and dusty lilac, then deepens toward soft mauve and rose pink at the center. It is the kind of color that makes people ask what it is.
This bare root hybrid tea rose from NIRP grows into a roomy 4 by 4 foot shrub, with 50 to 60 petals per bloom. Plenty of plant, plenty of flowers. She is grafted on Dr. Huey rootstock and grown by Francis Roses, so all that size sits on a sturdy base.
Bonus: she is a fragrant rose with a strong, gently powdery scent. Cut a few as a cut flower rose and your vase does double duty as air freshener.
She likes full sun and good soil, and her disease resistance is listed as high. Basically, she brings the drama to the vase, not to your weekend chores.
