The Elegance® Ranunculus line represents decades of selective breeding and innovation, producing some of the most refined and productive ranunculus available today. Known for their large, uniform blooms and a rich palette of harmonized pastel shades, these varieties are a favorite among professional growers and floral designers.

Developed through an enhanced hybridization process, the Elegance® series delivers:

  • Early blooming (about 8 weeks in temperate climates, up to 16 in cooler zones)

  • High productivity, with up to 12 blooms per plant over 6 months

  • Strong, upright plants with long, straight stems—ideal for cutting

  • Exceptional bloom quality, with full corollas and consistent petal structure

Adaptable to a wide range of climates and growing techniques, these ranunculus thrive in bright light and naturally close their blooms in the evening. For the best vase life, harvest blooms in the early morning.

Available as corms (bulbs) or seed, the Elegance® series is perfect for flower farmers, home gardeners, and anyone looking to grow high-quality ranunculus for cutting gardens, bouquets, or spring displays.

Grow & Care

When planting ranunculus, place pre-soaked corms 4" deep into the soil. Water thoroughly after planting, and then water as needed to keep the roots from drying out.

Until blooms emerge, Ranunculus can tolerate temperatures brief temperature dips down to 23°F (no more than a couple of hours).

Lower temps or extended periods will need additional protection. Once blooms emerge, frost protection will be needed.

Ranunculus typically will stop producing buds when temperatures average above 70°F and will move towards dormancy as temperatures rise above 80°F.

See our extended guide for when to plant ranunculus in your zone.
