‘Burgundy Manor’ is a hardworking perennial Astrantia with large, deep burgundy pincushion blooms held on long, wiry stems. It’s an especially good choice for cutting gardens... the more you harvest, the more it continues to bloom.

The intricate, almost star-like flowers add beautiful texture and depth to arrangements, particularly when you need something softer and more interesting than a traditional focal flower. Stems are excellent fresh and also dry beautifully, retaining much of their color and form.

Astrantia is a hardy, clump-forming perennial that prefers part shade and consistently moist, humus-rich soil. With regular cutting and deadheading, established plants can flower from late spring into early fall.

For the best vase life, harvest once the flower bracts are fully colored and beginning to feel papery, but before the flowers set seed. Expect approximately 7–10 days in the vase.
