Montmartre Hybrid Tea Rose
Purple, Parisian, and a little bit artsy
What you'll get: 1 bare root rose, shipped dormant for the 2027 season
Montmartre rose is named for the hilltop artist village in Paris, so of course she showed up in purple. Think rich, moody petals that look like they belong in a painting and a garden at the same time.
This bare root hybrid tea rose stays a manageable 3 feet tall and wide, which makes her easy to tuck into beds, borders, or a cutting row. The medium blooms are packed with petals and open into a full, rounded shape. She is grafted on Dr. Huey rootstock and grown by Francis Roses, which gives her sturdy roots from day one.
As a cut flower rose she is a total crowd pleaser. The fragrance is light, so the color does most of the talking, and the color has a lot to say.
Give her full sun, good drainage, and regular feeding and she will keep repeat blooming through the season. Purple roses are rare and this one actually behaves.
