Pansy Elegance ‘Dawn to Dusk’
Viola × wittrockiana
Japanese Pansy Dawn to Dusk features the contrast of the Twilight collection minus the reds and pinks. Dawn to Dusk has bright gold or sharp blue-white in the ruffles with purple or blue accents, and a dark face. Bred by renowned Japanese horticulturist Isao Sato, this cutting-edge collection produces large, frilly blooms.
The ruffled edges become even more pronounced as temperatures drop, making Dawn to Dusk an especially good choice for cool spring and fall gardens. Plants stay compact while producing loads of personality in containers, hanging baskets, window boxes, and border plantings.
Isao Sato spent decades pushing pansies far beyond the familiar garden-center six-pack. The Twilight Collection shows exactly what makes his breeding work so special: saturated color, unexpected combinations, intricate texture, and flowers that look different every time you stop to admire them.
