Grandma's Finest Mary Spray Rose
Old fashioned charm in apricot salmon
What you'll get: 1 bare root rose, shipped dormant for the 2027 season
Grandma's Finest Mary rose has that nostalgic, packed with petals look that makes you think of vintage teacups. The blooms come in a warm peach and apricot salmon shade.
This bare root spray rose sends up clusters of blooms on each stem, so one cut can fill a whole jar. She stays compact, around 2 to 2.5 feet tall and wide. That makes her a smart pick for smaller beds and containers. She is grafted on Dr. Huey rootstock and grown by Francis Roses, so small size does not mean small roots.
Tantau rates her vase life as very good, so she earns her spot as a cut flower rose. The fragrance is very delicate, more of a whisper than a shout.
She handles full sun to partial shade and her disease resistance is listed as high. Basically, she is grandma approved.
