Epimedium, commonly known as Barrenwort, is an elegant woodland perennial known for its delicate, airy blooms and graceful foliage. Currently being tested for use as a cut flower, Epimedium produces stems ranging from 14 to 24 inches in length. Its dainty, star-like flowers continue to open even after harvest, adding an evolving beauty to floral arrangements. While its vase life averages around five days, further refinement in harvesting techniques may extend its longevity. With its unique charm and movement, Epimedium offers exciting potential for floral design.
Grows great in full shade to part shade. If you have a woodland garden or a shady porch, Edimedium is a fantastic additon.
