Height: 44"

Introduced by Coseytown in 2023, purchased prior to 2024 terms of sale agreement.

Meet Coseytown Mason. Mason is an easy-keeping, vigorous, and prolific plant that delivers soft, earthy red-brown blooms with a perfectly muted warmth. When florists see this coloring, their creative wheels start to spin.

This dahlia is a favorite for warm neutral and boho palettes, pairing beautifully with copper, terracotta, blush, and other warm-toned florals. Its unique rusty brick-red hue deepens as it matures, fading to a dark warm rose that gives bouquets depth and mood.

Coseytown Mason produces long, straight stems with a single bloom per stem, making it quick to harvest and easy to strip for field processing. Blooms can be cut half-open and will continue to open gracefully over several days — a big win for vase life.

A 2023 introduction from the Coseytown line, Mason brings both color harmony and grower-friendly vigor to any cut-flower lineup. It’s one of those dahlias that makes you say, “This one just grows right.”

Customer Conduct Policy

We’re all about respectful and constructive communication—it’s how we ensure a positive experience for everyone in our growing community. If you have feedback or concerns, please reach out to us directly so we can resolve the issue promptly and fairly. We’re here to help, and we take pride in finding solutions that work.

That said, we reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or void guarantees if a customer engages in disrespectful behavior. Over the years, we’ve seen too many growers face devastating challenges because of impatient or unfair actions, like airing complaints publicly on social media before giving the business a chance to address them.

Here’s the deal: If customer service matters are taken public before we’ve had a chance to help, we may choose to walk away and void guarantees. Likewise, if we see posts that are intentionally damaging or rude behavior toward other growers in the community, we reserve the right to decline your orders altogether.

We’re all in this together, so let’s keep it kind, constructive, and focused on growing beautiful things. 🌱

Grow & Care

Dahlias are tender perennials, vigorous and fast growing. Dahlia tubers must be lifted for the winter from the ground in zones 7 and lower.

Planting:

Dahlias require soil that drains freely. Clay soil should be amended. Planting in raised beds can help alleviate moisture concerns. Tuber loss due to moisture rot is the leading cause for plant loss.

Plant 6" deep. Dig hole at least twice the width of your tuber to reduce soil compaction.

Label and stake your Dahlia at planting. Tubers do not need to be watered unless you are dealing with especially dry conditions. Whatever Mother Nature provides will be enough.

Care:

When Dahlias reach 10-12", the center tip should be pinched. This will create a bushier plan and yield more blooms. Without pinching, the plant will grow one tall, thick central stalk.

Your Dahlias will bloom from mid-summer until frost. Keep spent blooms trimmed and you'll enjoy repeat blooms all season long.
