Growing Tips
Plant Curcuma in rich, well-draining soil after the danger of frost has passed and temperatures are consistently warm. Choose a location with morning sunlight and afternoon shade, particularly in hot southern climates.
Keep the soil evenly moist during active growth, but avoid waterlogged conditions that can cause rhizome rot. Feed with a balanced fertilizer every two weeks during the growing season to encourage healthy foliage and abundant blooms.
Remove fading flower spikes to keep plants looking fresh and encourage continued flowering.
Overwintering: In colder climates, grow ThaiSpice™ Lavender in containers that can be brought indoors before cold weather. Once the plant enters dormancy, reduce watering and protect the rhizomes from freezing temperatures. New growth returns when warm conditions resume.
Perfect for gardeners looking for an unusual lavender flowering plant, a tropical container centerpiece, or a heat-loving perennial that brings something unexpected to the summer garden.
