Peony ‘Anderson’s Kaleidoscope’ (Intersectional / Itoh)
A bloom that shifts color like a turning prism.
‘Anderson’s Kaleidoscope’ produces large, fully double flowers in soft pink tones washed with hints of yellow at the base of the petals. The layered blooms show subtle variation as they open, giving each flower a blended, multi-toned appearance. Against the bright green foliage, the flowers appear luminous and full.
Plants grow to about 60 cm (24″) tall and bloom mid-season. Strong stems hold the blooms well above the foliage, and the plant’s structure makes it suitable for both garden planting and cut flower production in a range of climates, including greenhouse cultivation.
Complex color. Strong garden presence.

Intersectional peonies — often called Itoh peonies — were developed by Japanese breeder Toichi Itoh in the 20th century by crossing herbaceous peonies with tree peonies.
The result combines the best traits of both groups: large blooms, strong stems, and attractive foliage that holds its structure throughout the season.
