Lisianthus Celeb Feathered Grape

Celeb series is known to be plenty frilly, and somehow Sumika turned the dial up again.

Celeb Feathered is the newest twist with petal edges that look almost feathered—a fine, softer fringe. Cloudlike and fluffy - YES!  

Farmer Bailey notes say that because those tiny feathered margins are more delicate than standard types, they can show bruising if handled roughly. For that reason, this is not a good candidate for shipping and is unlikely to ever be a true import/export variety—making it a standout option for local, specialty cut-flower growers who can harvest and handle it gently from field to vase.

Bloom group: Farmer Bailey notes suspect Group 2, but this has not yet been confirmed.

Plugs are excluded from Plant Guarantee. I have ordered from an ultra-premium U.S. grower and will only ship healthy, beautiful plugs. Orders will be packed responsibly to help insulate and protect the the younglings. Fuirk cannot be held responsible for damage from/during/after shipping. We will pack healthy little plants and ship priority early in the week to reduce the possibility of plants sitting with a delivery service over the weekend.  

What Are Lisianthus Bloom Groups?

Lisianthus bloom groups determine when your plants will flower, with Group 1 blooming first, followed by Groups 2, 3, and 4.

Bloom initiation in Lisianthus depends on a mix of day length, light intensity, and temperature—a delicate balance. If you're planting after it has already warmed up in your area, stick with Group 2 or 3 varieties. These groups take longer to initiate flowering, allowing plants time to develop a strong root system before blooms appear.

The good news? You can plant all bloom groups at the same time without any issues. Planting 6–8 weeks before your last frost gives Lisianthus a nice, long cool period to establish roots before summer heat kicks in. Since Lisianthus are perennials in their native habitat, this cool stretch mimics winter, and they can even handle light frost after hardening off.
