Stock Murakami, Vintage Brown
Ships Week 7 (Week of February 16)
Vintage Brown Stock (Tall Cutting Type from Murakami Seeds, Japan)
Vintage Brown stock is a tall cutting strain with rose-taupe blooms in mixed single and double forms. An in-between neutral that blends beautifully with blush and earthy tones. One flowering stem per plant.
Rest assured, this is the tall cutting type from respected breeder Murakami Seeds in Japan—grown specifically for florists and bouquet work, not bedding displays.
The color is wonderfully hard to pin down—in the best way. Is it bronzy pink? Rusty lavender? Dusty rose? Think rose taupe with a soft brown cast rather than a true brown flower. It’s one of those in-between shades that slides perfectly into neutral, blush, and earthy color palettes, tying together everything around it.
Blooms can be both single and double, giving each stem a bit of character. Please note: this is a single-cut stock variety, meaning each plant produces one main flowering stem. For a steady harvest, plan to sow or plant in succession.
