Bourbon Street™ Hybrid Tea Rose
Subtle drama with a party-girl name
What you’ll get: #1 Bare Root Grafted
Root stock: Cal Davis Dr. Huey
Bourbon Street kicks off as a warm apricot bud and opens into a soft pink bloom — all set against lush green foliage for a clean, classic contrast. It’s got that romantic hybrid tea shape everyone loves, but with a color story that keeps things interesting.
This is a rose with event energy — named for New Orleans’ most iconic party street, and just as ready to steal the spotlight. Whether you’re growing for the garden, cutting for arrangements, or building out a wedding palette, Bourbon Street brings style and consistency.
Fragrance? Mild. Bloom size? Big and noticeable. Performance? Strong — introduced in 2007 by Jan Spek Rozen, this one’s grafted and well-bred. Just give it full sun and decent soil, and it’ll reward you with flushes of large blooms on upright stems.
It’s not overly fussy, but not a total beginner’s rose either. If you know how to prune, water, and keep pests in check, you’ll be just fine.
