Introducing the Anemone Levante Rosa ®10 Pack! The FLOWER Magazine Flower of the Year for 2025.

Levante Rosa® is frilly, fun, and ready to bring some serious charm to your floral game. This light pink anemone features a striking white center, making it the perfect accent for bold pink palettes or soft, romantic designs.

A newer find in our collection, Levante Rosa adds depth, contrast, and a playful twist to any arrangement. With long, sturdy stems and standout coloring, it’s ideal for florists and flower lovers looking to add something a little unexpected—without going over the top.

🌸 What Makes Levante Anemones Special?

The Levante line of anemones is a newer, highly sought-after breeding line developed specifically for cut flower production—and it's got a lot going for it. Think of it as the stylish, performance-driven cousin to the traditional anemones you've seen before.

1. Bred for the Vase

Levante anemones were developed by Biancheri Creazioni in Italy (yes, the same folks behind the Mistral series). They're bred with long, straight stems, uniform blooming, and larger flower heads—all must-haves for florists and flower farmers.

2. Big, Bold Blooms

These are not your average anemones. Flowers are poppy-like, with silky petals and rich, saturated colors—ranging from clean whites to blush, rose, purples, reds, and bicolors like Rosa, which features a white eye with soft pink petals.

3. Vigorous Plants, Strong Stems

They’re known for being vigorous growers with strong stems that don’t flop, and they tend to hold up better in cooler climates. Like other anemones, they’re fall or late winter planted depending on your zone, and bloom in early spring.

4. Uniformity & Commercial Quality

One of the Levante line’s biggest selling points is its uniformity—plants tend to grow at the same pace, with flowers maturing around the same time. That makes harvesting easier and gives a more polished, professional look for bouquet makers.

💐 TL;DR:

Levante anemones = high-performance, florist-grade flowers with bold color, long stems, and strong structure. Perfect for cut flower growers who want standout blooms without growing pains.

Want to pair them with ranunculus or other early-spring stars? They 100% play well with others.

Grow & Care

When planting ranunculus, place pre-soaked corms 4" deep into the soil. Water thoroughly after planting, and then water as needed to keep the roots from drying out.

Until blooms emerge, Ranunculus can tolerate temperatures brief temperature dips down to 23°F (no more than a couple of hours).

Lower temps or extended periods will need additional protection. Once blooms emerge, frost protection will be needed.

Ranunculus typically will stop producing buds when temperatures average above 70°F and will move towards dormancy as temperatures rise above 80°F.

See our extended guide for when to plant ranunculus in your zone.
