Coseytown® Tallboy Dahlia was introduced in 2024 – Tall White Heat-Tolerant Dahlia for Cut Flowers
Coseytown® Tallboy isn’t just tall — he’s dependable, heat-tolerant, and dressed to impress in perfect white. This 6-foot formal decorative dahlia stands above the rest, literally and figuratively, producing fully double 4” blooms on long, slender, but strong stems that rise cleanly above the foliage. Excellent stem quality makes it easy to harvest 20" cuts without slowing him down.
TLDR: Tallboy keeps the blooms coming.
Developed in the mid-Atlantic, Coseytown's Leeann Huber selected this plant due to Tall Boy's ability to hold clean, unburned white blooms during those brutal dog days of summer. Blooms stay marketable even in sustained summer heat.
Pinch early and harvest regularly to manage height and maximize flushes. And don’t worry about commitment.. Tallboy keeps going until frost with a closed center and reliable bloom production.
Highlights:
Type: Formal decorative
